What can be interesting for dev. team, is that capture this bug was not easy. I was able to record on video only one bug in Tropics Demo. For some reason on screen can be bug, but on records nothing! Inbuilt tools MSI Afterburner not can capture bugs. Only old PrintScreen saves day.

Iris 540/550 - Mass Effect Andromeda Problem

Currently Mass Effect Andromeda does not run correctly on any computer with an Iris 540 or 550 GPU.

So far we've tested on a Surface Pro 4 (i7 w/ iris 540) and two MacBook pros (running Windows 10) with Iris 540 and 550.

All loading screens take forever, but once the game gets to a point where 3D graphics are rendered, it is smooth and responsive.

The problem is loading screens can take upwards of an hour to complete, and there are a lot of them in this game.

It appears to be a driver problem, since removing the latest Intel drivers and defaulting back to the Windows 10 basic VGA driver actually improves load time dramatically.

Problem with Intel HD Graphics 620 x Nvidia GeForce 940mx

We bought a Laptop Dell 7460 (i7) with Intel HD Graphics 620 and Nvidia GeForce 940mx.

The intel driver cause problems on Windows 10 (1703), as Crashes and many times alternating the Display between Black Screen and Desktop Image, sometimes resulting in Blue Screen Error (video_tdr_failure (igdkmd64.sys)).

We contacted the Dell Support, but they didn't offer a solution.

On Linux, Ubuntu (16.04), the problems happen too.

The Laptop just Works with the Driver Intel HD Graphics 620 disabled!

Hi

Just reinstalled windows 10 Pro x64 and when I install the Intel HD 520 drivers my screen starts showing some random weird lines...

I did try to uninstall drivers, reinstall them, going on safe mode and try different solutions I read online even install the previous drivers and beta but nothing seems to work Smiley Sad Even update the bios but no joy...

At the moment I have disable the display adapter  on the device manager and that´s the only way I get to stop the flickering...

Can anyone give me any sugestions please? Thanks in advance.

How to adjust screen width

My PC - Gateway SX2851-41 (i3-550)

Graphics - Intel HD Graphics

Monitor (TV) - LG 42LD520-UA (1920x1080 60Hz) through onboard HDMI 1.4

OS - fresh installed Windows 10 64bit Home

My screen width is slightly wider than monitor's (about 3%) so a part of screen is not visible. I can already notice it when I boot my PC and see BIOS messages. It is not a monitor problem: my another PC fits perfectly.

My question: how can I adjust Intel HD Graphics settings to make screen fit my display? I am perfectly sure it is possible. I do not care about boot, just when I logged into Windows.

Can't find the name of the Intel ICD OpenGL driver

I have an HP Envy 750-424 desktop with an Intel HD 530 graphics driver.  This morning Windows automatically updated the graphics driver, and Chrome stopped working with an OpenGL ES Error  dialog box stating "Can't find the name of the Intel ICD OpenGL driver."  I rolled back the driver from 21.20.16.4574 to 20.19.15.4454 and it fixed the issue.  However, I suspect Windows will keep automatically updating the driver and causing this issue (it happened once before, with a different version number, and I was able to fix it with System Restore, so it seems to be a recurring problem).  I have seen in other discussions that some drivers are provided by Intel and some are customized by manufacturers--is 21.20.16.4574 provided by Intel or by HP?  Is this a bug that will be addressed ina  future driver version?

Thanks,

Unable to fit HDMI output to entire TV screen

Hello,

I have a GIGABYTE mini  pc GB-BXBT-2807 with integrated intel HD graphics.

The problem I having is that the HDMI output doesn't scale to the entire TV screen correctly. Using the resize options on the Panasonic TV remote doesn't expand the picture without it being oversized.

I have tried various Intel drivers, non of which have the overscan option. I have also used the Intel Update utility to install the latest drivers.

This is really frustrating as whole purpose of purchasing the mini pc was to use as a media box for my TV.

I have also used the Intel Graphics identification tool, which advises the graphics card is in fact an Intel Graphics HD  4600 GPU . I haven't been able to install the Intel 4600 drivers manually as i receive warning the drivers are not compatible. Running Windows x64 8.1 pro.

I have tried contacting the manufacturer of the PC but they referred me to Intel.

Minecraft display cropped and GUI offset since Driver x.x.x.4664

I have an Intel i5-6500 and after installing version 4664 of the graphics driver the Minecraft window became cropped and the GUI buttons were offset. This is the same under the latest version, 4678

You can see the result in a screenshot here: Minecraft screenshot - on Imgur  in particular you can see the text cropped in the bottom left/right, and the same happens when in-game.

(from a post on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/6dslsx/help_why_is_my_minecraft_blurry_and_cut_off_after/  )

Downgrade to 4627 and all is fine again.

I couldn't see anywhere else to post bugs/regressions so hope this is the best place to report it.

Any plans to add support for HD 600 Series ("Kaby-Lake") to Windows 7?

$

0

Hello;

I was wondering if there was even a chance that Intel might be planning to add support for Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit) for the "Kaby Lake" (HD 600 Series) graphics adapter family?

I ask this due to the HUGE number of users currently "running back" to Windows 7 once they have had all they can take from Windows 10. Many of the machines out there are soon to become very large PAPER WEIGHTS or BOAT ANCHORS when those user's discover that there on-board graphics are (unfortunately) Kaby Lake, and thus NOT SUPPORTED by Microsoft's current most popular OS (thus making downgrading to Windows 7 impossible, thanks to Intel Corporation and their lack of support...).

One COULD argue that those users could add add-in graphics cards, but many systems have NO FREE SLOTS for this purpose due to other hardware needs, and, besides, Intel is asking people to add in OTHER HARDWARE, simply so that they can avoid adding the SUPPORT for Windows 7 in themselves? These people already paid good money IN GOOD FAITH for brand new, state-of-the-art hardware, and now must begin UPGRADING ALREADY? Intel will most surely take a PR "hit" for that one...

Simply from a good business perspective, I would consider adding support for this graphics family to Windows 7 (even if some "special features" might not be fully available...) if I were in charge of the financial decisions for Intel!

If there isn't a VERY CLEAR and CONCISE REASON why this support can't be added, then I would surely attempt to make it so!!!

Just take a look at on-line postings from people completely FED UP with the Windows 10 platform, and I think you will agree that it may be a long time before many users "take a chance" on any new MS operating system again after this current fiasco...; Windows 7 is THE NEW Windows XP...

   I have personally had to inform my customers that the BRAND NEW PC they just purchased, simply chock full of Intel hardware, can NOT be downgraded to the Windows 7 platform for ONLY ONE REASON - Intel has no support for the graphics adapter for that OS!!! Then, when they ask me why there is no support, I simply don't know what to tell them. Next, I need to inform them of their NEW OPTION - the purchase of an add-in graphics card at their own expense, simply for the "luxury" of being able to use their new pc in the way it was intended. You should SEE the look of shock and disgust on their faces...; I feel like they blame ME for selling them "a lemon" :-{

I guess you would need to be in retail computer sales, and deal with the actual PURCHASERS of your hardware, to understand how important the customer satisfaction "factor" can be; I'm afraid many of these customers will probably blame me for this issue, and simply not bring my company their return business...

   - Thanks for your consideration in this regard,

Intel HD 620 graphical glitching all the time on desktop!!!

$

Hello!

I'm getting graphical glitching on my desktop on my new Lenovo computer using intel i5-7200U and intel HD graphics 620. After about one day of use the screen started having graphical glitching issues with artifacts randomly flickering on the screen all the time. For example, if I'm on my desktop, I have the Trashcan and Spotify icon at the top of my desktop, and I will see "ghosts" of these icons flickering over the lower half of the screen. I tried updating the graphics driver to the latest version but it didn't help: http://support.lenovo.com/se/sv/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-910-13ikb/downloads/D...

The graphical artifacts that flicker on the screen seem to be based on what content I have on the screen currently. So if I'm in a browser, I'll see the top of my browser flickering on the lower half of the screen occasionally. The flickering disappears when I start a game like World of Warcraft or Open RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 (I tested both in windowed mode). When I guit RCT2 the flickering/glitching starts again. So it seems to be related to being on the desktop/in a browser, but fine when in a game.

How do I fix this???

Dell 7348 with Intel HD Grahics 5500 cannot boot into Windows 10 Creators Update using latest graphics drivers, it does boot however using Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver. Any suggestions on how to fix?

So as the topic says, I installed the WIndows 10 Creators Update (clean install using a USB installer, newly formatted drive) on my Dell 7348, and when I install the Intel HD Graphics 5500 drivers and reboot, the laptop freezes on the black screen with spinning white dots.

I have removed all USB peripherals and turned on and off Secure Boot in the UEFI settings, but the issue still occurs regardless.

I have tried using the following Intel drivers, but the issue still occurs:

  • The package on Dell's support page for the 7348, which installs Intel Graphics Driver Version 20.19.15.4463
  • The drivers fetched by Windows 10 via Windows Update, which also installs Intel Graphics Driver Version 20.19.15.4463
  • Intel's official and latest drivers on the Intel website, which installs the Intel Graphics Driver Version 20.19.15.4624
  • Intel's official and latest drivers using the Intel Driver Update Utility, which also installs Intel Graphics Driver Version 20.19.15.4624

But when I revert to using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver, I am able to boot normally.

Would anyone know of a long-term fix for this? Any help would be much appreciated.

My basic system information, for reference:

OS: Windows 10 Home Version 1703 Build 15063.332
