4600HD HDMI can't output audio or video to the AVR

$

Using ASRock H87 Pro4 with BIOS 1.90, INTEL i7-4770,

DVI connected to Dell 24" 1920X1200 2405FPW,

HDMI connected to Pioneer SC-LX83 AVR then HDMI to Sharp LED 42" 1920*1080 display

Flesh clean installed Win7 64bit with SP1, the lastest windows update, and all lastest driver in ASRock download page as of 15April2014.
In these 3months, I keep trying different way differnt combinion to solve this problem but fail.

I also used the lastest video driver from INTEL site, the v15.31.18.64.3272, but same result.

Problem:  connected both monitor and AVR, but only use the monitor when AVR in stand-by mode, there is no problem, and open INTEL HD Graphic Control Panel >> select Multiple Display will see the Extend, Clone.. options and see both Dell mon and AVR for display 1 and 2.  At the same time, in Device Manager can see both "Intel® Display/HDMI Audio" and "Realtek High Definition Audio" under Sound, video and game contrillers.

But once I switch on the AVR from stand-by, the Dell mon will blank for half second and then back to normal, but the Dell mon will change the res. to 1920X1080, then in the INTEL HD Graphic Control Panel >> Multiple Display NO longer see the Extend, Clone.. options and only left the DELL mon, at the same time,  in Device Manager only left the "Realtek High Definition Audio" under Sound, video and game contrillers... the INTEL one disappeared...

Then I switch back the AVR to stand-by mode, the DELL will blank agian then come back with everything, the multiple display setting is back, INTEL back to Device Manager....

I think the correct case should be: switch on the AVR can choose clone then display in both screen, but now is whenever the AVR on, then can't even choose it.. just lost contact with it.

I then disconnect the Dell's DVI cable and only with the HDMI connected to the AVR to start the computer, but it just has no signal to the AVR, I have to shut down the windows.  But I am sure the HDMI cable connection is ok while in standby mode... they can shake hand and the computer knows there is a LX-83 connected!!

I tried lower the Dell to 1920X1080 then switch on the AVR, but fail also.

I tried all combination to turn on the computer, AVR on + Dell on, AVR off + Dell off, AVR on + Dell off but all same result, whenever the AVR is on, then lost it...

I am wonder how you saying this MB can display 3screens at the same time??

Thanks

Is there an Intel G41 Express Chipset driver update that supports OpenGL on Windows 8.1 x64?

Hello guys,

I have been always using a software of astronomy called Stellarium on Windows 7 x64, without any problem. But now, I installed it on Windows 8.1 x64 and when I try to open it, an error message says: “Your platform does not support the minimum Open GL 1.2 required. Please, update the drivers of your video card.”

As we can see, that's not a hardware problem because I have already used Stellarium in the same pc, but there’s a problem with the driver of my graphics. My video card is the Intel G41 Express Chipset and there’s no update driver of this video card, for Window 8/8.1 in the Intel Download Center. Is this a configuration problem in my system?

I am an amateur astronomer and this is my favourite planetarium simulator, so any help is gonna be very apreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi guys...

I'm having a very big problem with my HD 4000. It was haywire for a few weeks, and when DELL restored my laptop, it was ok for a few days. Then today, it just went kaput. I can't update my Nvidia GPU cos it says that I need to install my Intel driver first, but it says that my Intel driver is updated. Yet there is the yellow triangular exclamation mark next to it in Device Manager...

Please help!!!

Intel(r) HD Graphics 2000 dvmt no funciona correctamente?

Annoying bug of latest HD3000 VGA for windows 8.1

$

Hello

Yesterday I have downloaded the latest version of Intel VGA driver for HD 3000 on windows 8.1 64 bit. Version: (15.28.22.64.3517 (9.17.10.3517)) but after updating to this version some programs and mainly multimedia programs stopped working and I was looking for the problem for one whole day till I noticed that if I change graphics processor to non integrated (Nvidia) programs works fine. I was lucky to have second VGA.

Please fix this problem.

Since windows 8.1 came to the market my first problem was Intel VGA drivers which they are recently full of bugs and problems specially on windows 8.1.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Haswell flying textures and driver crashes

I have the latest driver 10.18.10.3496, Windows 7 64-bit, 4 gigs of memory. My CPU is Celeron G1820, Motherboard Asus H81M-E. The latest BIOS update.

Guys could you point me where to complain about this Intel HD crash issue? I wrote to intel support about 3 weeks ago, and got only automatic reply kind of "we will look into the problem and reply to you shortly". But I still didn't get any replies. The problem is that when I play Half Life 2 episode Two, I have flying textures

ep2_outland_010000.jpg

The problem is semi persistent. Sometimes I have it sometimes I don't. It also happens that some textures become white or purple. And in this game scene also it constantly crashes in the train when you look up. The message in notification area says "Driver for windows 8 crashed and recovered... blah-blah-blah". But the game does not recover. And I have windows 7, not 8. Personally I think that this is a problem with Windows 7/8 driver. Because:

1. When I put NVidia card into my MB and play this game, I get no such problems.

2. When I play this game on linux with Intel HD, I have no such problems.

3. When I play this game on Windows XP with XPEmbedded driver, downloaded here Download Center . I have no such problems.

This problem seems to less affect other games. But sometimes I have black squares in DosBox and in some console emulators. Which are fully 2D applications.

I tried clean installation of Windows 7, with clean drivers, without any additional software and updates. Also I tried it with latest updates for windows 7. No effects on the problem.

With the previous driver version the game used to freeze for 5 secs. Now it does not.

Hi everyone, just a general announcement in regards to collage support using MST.

Intel® is currently in the process of adding support for collage mode in the Intel® integrated graphics driver when using a 4K panel in MST (Multi-Stream Transport) Mode.  Until this is complete, users may experience issues with this configuration.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns - feel free to voice them here.  Please keep all feedback, inquiries, etc - constructive.

HD 4000 Setup

I've got a great running system (see below) but I'm setting up a new Z87 system with no GPU using only Intel's HD 4600, so I wanted to try out the Intel HD 4000 on my existing system.

I removed my gpu and hooked up my monitor to the HD 4000 on-board video port and it doesn't boot. The system gives me a few beeps like it can't boot without a video card installed.

I'm sure I need drivers for Windows, but I thought the system would boot with no setup - can't find any BIOS settings.

Current Setup:

MB: ASUS P8Z77 WS

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K

MEM: G. Skill 16 GB - CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9

GPU: XFX  Radeon HD 7870

Win8 CP, GMA 3600 Drivers crashing under metro

Hi Guys,

I am using a toshiba WT200 that has an intel GMA3600 video chipset. When you launch metro apps, the sys file from the driver causes a BSOD. I have tried this microsoft OLE fix, but to no avail (see Metro apps won't start under consumer preview of Windows 8 )

Is there a beta driver suitable for this device coming, that will alleviate this issue?

Thanks, Chris

Hey ho,
Two weeks ago i'v re installed my computer. Before one week i re-installed Battlefield 4 and i startet playing. I noticed a error message that told me that there is not enough memory is available. I'v never had this error before. After 2 weeks of testing and finding the problem i noticed that everytime i run a game at another resolution than my desktop resolution my virtual memory is linea filling up to 100%. After it reaches the 100% mark, the Windows Error message shows up and it wants me to close the game that i'm playing. If i run the game at the same resolution than the desktop resolution or in windowed mod this doesnt happen. If i switch back to the desktop, the virtuel memory is will be cleared again.

What i'v already tried:

  • Re-installed DirectX
  • Repaire Visual Studio 2013
  • Cleaned and re-installed Nvidia and Intel HD drivers
  • Used a old version of Nvidia drivers
  • Used a old version of Intel HD drivers
  • Re-installed Windows 8 Intel chipset drivers and sata
  • Different amounts of virtual memory
  • Moved the virtual memory from sdd to hdd
  • Checkdisc
  • Re-installed the games
  • Checked memory usage and programms
  • De-installed Avira AntiVir
  • Re-installed Windows 8.1

My system

  • Intel i7-3610QM
  • 8,00 GB - 1600MHz
  • 120 GB SSD
  • 1 TB HDD
  • Nvidia Geforce GT650M - 2 G
  • Intel HD 4000 - 256 MB

Windows 8 - intel hdmi driver: 44khz wasapi bug

$

After a lot of testing i've found out that Intel hdmi drivers have a major bug under windows 8: when you use wasapi (event/push/shared) for audio output and set it to 16/24 bit @ 44000hz the output is SILENT. You get no errors from the application (tested with foobar and xbmc), what you get is a normal playback of the audio file but with no audio output. Can anyone confirm this? In both cases resampling the audio @48khz fixed the issue but still, I/We need also the 44khz. Thank You.

Intel HD Graphics Control Panel tray icon always visible at startup

Hi,

I have recently updated the driver of my intel graphics card to the latest versoin and since then the Intel HD Graphics control panel tray icon is always visible when I restart my laptop, despite having selected "Disable" tray icon from the preferences section in the control panel. I try to keep as little as possible in the system tray and this bug is very annoying.

I can manually hide the tray icon every time but it's not the ideal solution. Is this a know bug or does this just happen on my laptop?

Intel HD4000 and hdmi failure (again) with samsung laptop

Hi. Ive got a samsung NP470R5E-K01UB laptop, i5 3230M chip, Intel HD4000 graphics, windows 8.1.

hdmi to my tv screen on laptop goes on and off every 2 seconds for about a minute while recognising tv, then stays on not recognising tv. At no stage does a picture appear on tv.

Just spent 2 hours on chat with samsung who were pretty useless but nice. they said latest intel update may not work with laptop, and that their last update is most recent even though my laptop says it was installed on 28/11/2013.

Can I use intel driver 3496 on my laptop to see if it helps? and do i use exe or zip file and how do i do it? thank you, David
