Drive de VIDEO Intel HD Graphics

Prezados,

I recently updated my video driver Intel HD Graphics from an older version to a newer version and now i have this control panel that has no specific features or options in it

And when I try to disable anti-aliasing in the options it doesnt work for all games! One game i play has it forced and i cant disable it from within game! On my other computer with ati graphics i can disable anti-aliasing in ati's control panel and it actually disables it in-game too and gives me more framerates! but it doesnt work on the newest intel hd graphics control panel driver! Where can I find the old version that supports the old control panel again?

The version i have control panel looks like this http://technosider.com/uploads/topics/img/00/00/19/20140829170251_8aedb.jpg

Very few useful options and does not support changing openGL options only works on directx programs

the version i want to downgrade back to looks like this http://www.eightforums.com/attachments/graphic-cards/9739d1350785088-preinstalled-intel-hd-graphics-drivers-preventing-g…

openGL and DirectX options actually work correctly with this version! How do I get it back?

I have windows 7 ultimate x64-bit and Intel HD Graphics

Dell Precision M3800 - HDMI output resolution 2560x1440 (Intel HD 4600)

Hi all,

I have a Dell Precision M3800 which i have connected to two DGM IPS-2701WPH LCD Monitors (native 2560x1440 60Hz). The Dell provides two video output ports 1 x mini DisplayPort and 1 x HDMI.

Both monitors will display out the native resolution while being powered off the MiniDP port. However from the HDMI port the laptop will only display to 1920x1080 and nothing higher.

Using a Apple MacBook Pro the monitors work fine using HDMI at the full 2560x1440 resolution. so i know it isnt a problem with the monitor end.

Things i have tried,

  1. customapp mapping a resolution to 2560x1440 at 30Hz = black screen, and anything higher (refresh rate) - i get a dialog box stating - The custom resolution exceeds the maximum bandwidth capacity.
  2. updated to the latest Dell video driver
  3. manually installed the latest Intel Video Driver

None of these have resolved the issue. below is a copy of the Intel video report, any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced

GOOD SCREEN DIMMER FOR METRO MODE?

$

0
I'm posting this on here because I've lowered the brightness using the Intel Graphics control panel but I was wondering if there is something where I can dim the screen even further.
Here is my situation:
I have the Surface Pro 2 connected to a monitor in "extend mode".
Dimming the screen (using Windows 8 settings) on the tablet does NOT affect the monitor.
I've looked and looked and every screen dimmer I've run into only works in desktop mode.
Out of all the people on planet Earth, has ONE PERSON made a dimmer that works in Metro Mode?
Or  is this the Unicorn of Windows 8 apps?
And yes, I've set my monitor and the Intel graphics control panel to the lowest brightness settings but that makes the blacks too dark and its still not dark enough.
I want something like the many screen dimmers you find on Android where you can go beyond zero brightness setting.

Intel Mobile 4 Series Chipset Family - Aspect Ratio Difficulty

$

Hi, all!

I'm having a bit of  a problem. When I try to change my aspect ratio setting from  "Fullscreen (No Border)" to "Maintain Aspect Ratio", nothing happens at all.  I'm able to open "aspect ratio options" and make my selection, but the "apply"  but remains greyed out and when I click "ok," nothing happens  whatsoever; the setting stays on "Fullscreen (No Border)." When I attempt to change the settings by right-clicking on the desktop and choosing graphics options -> panel fit -> maintain aspect ratio, again, nothing whatsoever happens; the old setting remains in effect.

I've tried updating my drivers from the manufacturer's website (I'm running a Dell Inspiron 1545), but the problem persists. I'm unable to use Intel's generic drivers (even using the workaround) as my computer just insists, "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date."

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, in case that's relevant.

Thanks!

Asus g - something something, win 8 not 8.1, intel i3, 4gb ram, etc... Anyways... So I bought this laptop like a year ago and well it worked fine i could play stuff like bf3, cod, samp with mods, etc. But the thing dat changed and i mean CHANGED was my fps bcs one day I wanted to play a bit of COD and I noticed my fps was soooo low ( at that time i thought i was lagging bcs i usually lag ). So I researched that problem and many people told me it was the dust in my fan and I belived it but I didnt want to touch anything inside bcs im kind of a retarded as far as the pc stuff goes. So I reaserched it more and i went to win. update to update my drivers and stuff and i dunno how but it actually worked. So I was pretty happy, but then like a month passed and dat happend again and i was like no biggy, ima just update my drivers and everything's gonna be fine, BUT NO lol. So I was like relly woried so I went to a store dat I bought it from and well it was in their shop for about like 2 and a half weeks i think. So I thought they gotto solve that problem, BUT NO ! They didn't. And I reshearched it more, and moreeeee and I found out dat many people have this problem and I thought it was pretty weird bcs the dudes at the shop fixed like my motherboard but that didnt fix the actual problem ( i didnt even know my motherborad was broken lol ).So I found out dat I gotto update my drivers, now I dunno how this helped ( it barely helped but help is still a help ), but i update my graphics driver and it got my fps up by 5 but i was still sad bcs on samp i almost had no mods no enb's and my fps was low . So one day I was in my control panel and I found out I dont have any updates for this 3d video controler, but I didnt know what dat is. So here we are, i seached the whole internet, found barely some help. I JUST WANT TO PLAY SAMP IN A NORMAL ******* WAYYYY ITS A GAME FROM 2005 FOR GOD SAKES LOL

HELP with Intel HD 4600 scaling options

$

Hi,

I recently bought a new notebook with a Intel HD 4600 IGP. Now, since an IGP isn't the fastest GPU out there I usually have to reduce the resolution to achieve a higher/playable frame rates.

But when I set a game (for example CoD: Black Ops II or Alien Isolation) to a lower resolution than my desktop, I get a centered screen with black bars all around. Now, that's usually not a problem, as every decent graphics driver has scaling options where you can choose what the GPU does when you use a program/game with a smaller resolution.

Those options usually are: maintaining display ratio, stretch to fullscreen and center. But those options aren't available in the Intel HD 4600 control panel. Only if I lower the native desktop resolution lower than the the max. 1600x900, I get different scaling options.

But I want my (desktop) resolution set to 1600x900 and the games being stretched to fit fullscreen. When I google this problem, many topics like this pop up, sometimes as old as one year. But nothing happens! When are you going to fix this problem? This is a very basic and very important feature, especially on an IGP like the HD 4600. Let me choose what scaling options to use, even at my native resolution.

Is there any ETA on when this is going to be fixed? It really ruins my experience with Intel, on my old laptop with an AMD IGP it functioned with out problems.

Scaling/Custom Resolution issues with Optimus System

Ever since I got my new laptop I've had nothing but problems with the Intel Graphics. The new GUI is absolutely terrible; it's incredibly dumbed down and you can't even do near to half as much as you could with the old GUI. I tried installing the old GUI, but I can't find it, I thought I did, but I just installed an older version of this new junk system.

Issues:

  • Custom Resolutions don't work
  • There's no 720p option even though the built in monitor's default resolution is 1080p which should scale just fine.
  • Scaling doesn't seem to work
  • Sometimes when just browsing sites on Google Chrome, everything will flicker and then go back to normal and all videos/images/media will be black until I refresh the pages

I am NOT using an external monitor. I've been trying to play games in the Battlefield series, but every one I launch starts out without being scaled.. So I can't play in 720p in any of them, and my system doesn't perform very well in 1080p for games like that. I just want things to work, if someone can help me, that would be great. Things were perfect with the old GUI.. Why change it? Yes the new GUI looks better, but it doesn't do nearly as much as you can do with the old one. Or maybe you can, but for some reason I can't do things as easily as I could back then.

Display Scaling problems in Intel HD Graphics Control Panel

Hello.

Recently, I've bought a new ASUS TP500L Laptop, which comes with Intel(R) HD Graphics Family. It is running Windows 8.1 64-bit.

I found that in all videogames including Team Fortress 2 and Need For Speed Undercover, as long as the in-game resolution is not set to 1366*768, there are black borders around the edge of the screen.

I've attempted to solve this problem by right clicking on desktop, to bring me to Intel(R) HD Graphics Control Panel. but under Scaling in Display Options, I do not have any other choice other than "Maintain Display Scaling", which cannot be un-checked, as shown in the screenshot below.

Screenshot.jpg

Is there anyway I can stretch my display to fullscreen when using non native resolutions?

Here is an attached DxDiag.txt from my laptop.

Intel HD Graphics with HDMI Over Cat6

Hello, I work for a school and we have just brought a Vivo PC from asus, It has come with Intel HD Graphics. I need to be able to use this machine with HDMI Over Cat6 extenders to get the display from the classroom to the PC in the corridor. When i plug everything in, the 2nd display appears correctly but i am not getting any display on the screen. I have another computer we used previously and this works so i know all of the cables and extenders are working correctly.

Is there something i am doing wrong which is why this is not working? I have updated the drivers and everything is up to date! I have this machine as a test as i thought it would be a perfect solution. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

HD4600/GTX880M Optimus scaling issues

Hi,

I recently got a new laptop with Optimus graphics and for some reason I'm having odd scaling issues. My laptop is connected to a 16:9 HDTV that reports resolutions up to 1920x1200p 60Hz and my desktop is using 1080p60Hz with "Maintain Display Scaling" mode selected. However when running some games the display mode switches to "Maintain Aspect Ratio" so I end up getting a squished 1080p image displayed with black bars. The TV reports its using 1920x1200p.

This issue only seems to show when games are using 1080p60Hz, 59Hz or other resolutions are not affected by odd scaling. I came here as the issue seems to come from the Intel part of the system that does the display scaling, as the Nvidia Control Panel lacks scaling controls.

Thanks for your help,

Official Black-screen thread - We need your help!

Hello Graphics Communities!

For a very long time now we've been trying to track down, diagnose, and correct an issue that seems to be happening all across the board with Intel® Graphics.  Users, for various reasons - seem to have issues with OEM systems (and Intel® NUC's) losing their display for different events.

  • Installing new drivers
  • Rebooting
  • Computers idling, going into sleep or hibernation
  • Other random events

We have run into a stumbling block in fixing this issue, and that is that we are unable to reproduce the symptoms above.  We have ordered exact-matching systems, displays and cables - and matched our configurations to those of the users having problems, and we are completely unable to reproduce the problem.  The issue is complex, but in this particular case - it stems from the fact that two users with the same configuration are not guaranteed to have the problem, it varies from user to user, system to system, display to display.

What we at Intel® are asking now though is 2-fold.  If you are one of these users (or a business) experiencing a consistent black-screening issue as mentioned above, we would like to procure your COMPLETE system configuration.  This means, we want you to ship us (at our expense) - the System (desktop or laptop), display (TV, monitor) AND the cable (hdmi, dp, dvi, vga) used by your system when it starts to have a blackscreen failure.  If you are willing to do this, you should be aware that we will keep your system for an extended period, and will compensate you by replacing your setup.

NOW!  Even if you are not willing to send us your system, and would just like to inform us that you have a black-screen issue.  That is okay too. Even if you have already submitted this info in some of our other black-screen threads, feel free to submit it here too.  Please submit the following information into this thread so that we can continue to document all possible instances of it.  Just copy and paste the below list and put in relevant information (completely!).  *NOTE* If you have not already done so, please update your BIOS and Display Driver to the latest version available.  We cannot accept a report of a failing configuration that is not up to date.  Additionally, if you are running your display through a 3rd party device such as a projector or an AV/R (receiver), you need to show that the problem still occurs without the extra device connected (a direct connection from system to display is required).

Are you willing to send your system to us? (Yes/No)
Is your system a laptop or desktop?
If desktop, is it custom built, or manufactured?
If desktop, what is the make/model of your motherboard?
What is the make/model of your system? (COMPLETE model name required)
What is the model of your CPU?
What is the make/model of your failing display(s)?
If laptop, is your built-in display failing? (Yes/No)
What is your operating system?
Is it a 64-bit or 32-bit operating system?
What display driver version do you have installed?
What type of connection are you using? (HDMI, VGA, DP, DVI?)
What happens that results in the blackscreen failure?

Any/all information is valuable.

Thank you for your information & cooperation!

When I use the keyboard key to switch from my laptop to the digital television using the windows 8.1 interface it switches correctly to 1920x1080, but if I use the right click menu and select the quick links under the graphics options menu to switch to Digital Television, it sets the resolution at 1776x1000.

driver version 10.18.10.3907

looking at the system info for the monitor its showing it doesn't support 1920x1080 at 60hz, but it does.

Thanks for any help.
