Hello. I'm currently having a problem with regards to my graphics driver, Intel HD 4000. I cannot seem to make it work. I uninstalled a 2013 version to update it, however whenever I try to install the latest one, it says it's not validated to I updated to the 2nd latest one.

As you can see below, the drivers installed but whenever I enable them, nothing happens and the adapter that's still in use is the basic display one.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hello ladies and gentlemen

Quite a strange problem appeared the past year where my intel control panel is not displayed correctly. I currently have the latest drivers and software according to intel.

My control panel appears to be clipped like this

I could go on and on but you get the idea.

The thing is that I have tried everything I have thought of and it appears to have no effect over the situation.

My specs are :

i5-4300m cpu with the HD 4600 intel HD graphics

an 8970m gpu

windows 10

an ssd and an hybrid hdd

This is a laptop

Things I have tried :

Reinstalling the drivers from scratch

isntalling only the intel drivers

installing only the amd drivers

installing older drivers and software (intel ones)

My problem persists. Anyone has any ideas?

Screen goes black randomly with Intel HD 4600 (Laptop)

$

Hi everyone, i have a little problem with i guess is the graphic's card from my Laptop. I will try to summarize it:

With Windows 7 (a clean install) the screen was turning black and then returns to normal after 1 second (the sound and eveything works on that little second) and sometimes the screen flickers (very instantaneous). This was extremely random (from occurring each 8 hours playing heavy games, to occurring many times in a minute using the Event Viewer from Windows!).

After some time, i have started using Windows 10 (a clean install) and the problem dissapears, but it occurs sometimes with some games (Sims 4, Portal 2, very frequent in Rise of Nations EE). In the Counter Strike Global Offensive the problem stops occuring completely when "Triple Buffer Vsync" is activated (i think this is important). Now it occurs less frequently in those games than before.

The problem is neither the screen flex/cable, the drivers (occurs with new versions or olds) nor the heat/fans.

A friend of mine told me that it's probably the driver from the power supply (giving more Volts than the necessary).

I attach all the files necessary for a diagnosis (with the specs from my Laptop).

Hi, yesterday I updated driver for version 15.40.22.64.4424 but after turning on from sleep mode laptop display didn't turn on, just black monitor. So i had to manually  restart (holding the power button) the system. I decided to reinstall the driver with driver version 15.40.14.4352 and the problem seems solved. I am just curious if anyone else experienced such a problem maybe some solution. (Laptop: ASUS X555UB Intel Core i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz @ 2.40GHz) THX,

upgraded from g3258 to 4690k now Nvidia graphics card not found on system

Hello Folks:

I recently upgraded my desktop CPU from a Pentium G3258 to an i5 4690k. I cleaned my 212 EVO cooler, thinly applied new Antec 7 thermal compound and reinstalled everything. As soon as I rebooted with the new CPU, all worked except that my monitor had "No Signal" when it was connected to the graphics card's HDMI slot. The monitor image was only available via the on-board Intel Graphics 4600, connected through the motherboard's HDMI slot.

My existing Nvisia GTX 960 Gaming G1, had disappeared from my system - Windows 10 couldn't find it and it was not listed in the device manager. I pulled the graphics card and tested it on another system - working fine on all output connections. Getting help from other forums, I performed a clean reinstall of Windows 10, updated my ASRock Z97M Anniversary motherboard's BIOS, made sure that the on-board graphics were unchecked in the board's BIOS, uninstalled the 960 card and then uninstalled the Intel graphics drivers and Nvidia card drivers using UDD in Safe Mode, and finally reinstalled the graphics card and downloaded new Nvidia drivers for my card. As soon as the new drivers tried to install, the installer program stopped, saying I had no Nvidia graphics card installed. Bummer.....

So I pulled the 960 card again, cleaned it and the PCIE slots, reinstalled and made sure everything was tight, and removed and reinstalled the RAM, but still no card appeared on the system and another try at reinstalling Nvidia drivers failed. I ran the POST beep codes and got 1 short beep - "DRAM refresh failure". I ran memtest86, and passed, but still no 960 card recognized on my system. My PSU is a Corasir CX500 unit,  which should be robust enough for my new setup, and worked fine with the Pentium overclocked to 4.4 Ghz.

Next step is to pull the motherboard and test all connections, but I really hate to go through all the disassembling of the system that entails. Any other ideas of how I can troubleshoot this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I need to go to safe mode and rollback the driver to "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter", but issue with this is that I cannot use sleep mode, cannot change brightness, cannot connect projector, etc. I have tried the latest drivers (beta as well as stable version) but no success. Kindly help me with this!

Intel Graphics and the quest to support DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 Adapters

$
0
0

Hello Intel,

As you might have picked up, there has been a surge of interest for using  ParadeTech's interface converter with Intel Graphics. For many, the primary goal has been around connecting various Intel Graphics iterations with recently released adapters to convert DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 allowing for 4kp60 access on 4kTV's.  Given that 99% of 4kTV's today only support HDMI and not DisplayPort, use of this adapter is critical for HTPC usage, allowing users to fully leverage their Intel Graphics. Please see the following links for information regarding the underlying chip technology and subsequent adapters released to the consumer market:

Paradetech PS175 & 176:

http://www.paradetech.com/products/displayport-format-converters/ps175/

http://www.paradetech.com/products/displayport-format-converters/ps176/

Club 3D's CAC-1070 and CAC-1170 Consumer DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 adapters:

DisplayPort™ 1.2 to HDMI™ 2.0 4K60Hz UHD Active Adapter

Mini DisplayPort™ 1.2 to HDMI™ 2.0 4K60Hz UHD Active Adapter

Many are discovering that when attempting to use the above adapter with Intel Graphics (that support 4kp60 via DisplayPort) only 4kp30 becomes available in the Intel Graphics drivers. This is accounting for the 4kTV with native support for 4kp60 4:4:4 and using High-Speed HDMI cables. For example, using the adapter with my Intel NUC5i5RYH with Intel Graphics 6000 connected to my Samsung JS8500 4kTV, (with using all the correct settings) the drivers only allow for 4kp30. This is using the latest Intel beta drivers for Window 10. Some have linked the issue to the inability to change the color depth to 8bit. Is this setting unavailable to us?

It's our understanding the Club 3D may be in touch with you regarding this issue. Can you please confirm if this is the case and let us know if progress is being made? Much of the feedback for the adapter lives in the Clud 3d forum, thread below:

Would love nothing more that to view my NUC with 4kp60 on my 4kTV.

Thanks!

The company I work for develops a CAD designing application for the embroidery industry called Tajima DG15 by Pulse. This 64-bit program has been available for many years. We recently discovered that the Intel HD 530 graphics driver will crash after working in DG15 for only a few seconds. We don’t have this issue with other Intel or non-Intel display adapters. The computer is a DELL XPS 9550 laptop. I have updated all drivers and BIOS for this computer. I tried the latest Intel HD 530 beta drivers (Version: Beta 15.40.20.4404) and still experience the crash. We appreciate any help you can give us to solve this issue. Thanks.

Display driver stopped responding and has recovered Intel HD Graphics 4400 Windows 10

I have an Acer Aspire E5-571 with intel core i5-4210U @ 1.70GHz with Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400 with 8GB DDR3L RAM upgrade, a Samsung 850 evo 500GB SSD upgrade, windows 10, and might I add that I upgraded to windows 10 when I got my SSD and did a total clean install, so none of the manufacturer junk present.  Whenever I launch a game or whenever a call is started in Skype this "Display driver stopped responding..."pops up and the program quits responding and I have to restart the program.  I have yet to be able to call on Skype and have yet to play any of the games I have gotten. I have updated it to the newest drivers that it suggests, what the websites suggest, what the manufacturer suggest, and what several driver finding software suggest, and I still get the same message. I am currently running Driver Version: 20.19.15.4300 Driver Date: 10/1/2015.  I also changed the TdrDelay time to 10 to try to let the program have enough time to load. I even reset and moved my RAM to different slots which was a suggestion that I found in my reading through some other forums and watching some videos. I also found that some people fixed the problem by disabling there Antivirus software, which I also tried, and also did not work. This problem has only started happening since I upgraded to windows 10, so I have a feeling that that has something to do with it. (Also my computer just recognizes my graphics as Intel(R) HD Graphics Family instead of Intel HD Graphics 4400, is it supposed to be recognized as that? how do I fix that?) Please help! I think it is a driver so if you can point me in the direction of the one I need to fix it or have Intel start on the fix that would be great, or if you have an answer that I am missing that I need to fix that would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

I have posted a photo of what I mean by my question.  The issue arises randomly but when it does my only option is to reboot the system as the 'qhost' mouse keeps taking the focus from whatever I am working on.  The retailer from whom I bought it says that it's just a graphics driver glitch.  Any ideas - has anyone experienced or seen this before?

Many thanks

Desktop PC's HDMI port doesn't work with second monitor

$

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to set up a second monitor on my home desktop PC using the HDMI port, since there's only one VGA port available and it's already occupied by the first monitor. However, there's no incomming signal coming from it and the monitor stays blank.

I remember seeing options related to HDMI ports in the Intel Graphics Panel so I went looking for it to see if I had to check a checkbox or enable it manually, but the panel is missing. Apparently I lost it when I recently formatted and upgraded to Windows 8.1 (had 7 previously), or maybe it was just never available in this computer to start with and I don't remember exactly.

Naturally, I came to this site looking for drivers to see if that would help the HDMI issue or at least get the Panel back... but first of all, I can't find any Win8 drivers for my chipset, and second of all, all Win7 drivers that I try to install in compatibility mode or not error out with the message "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software". Basically I haven't been able to install any new drivers that I find here, and I used both the automaqtic Driver Detection Utility and Driver Upgrade Utility.

Can someone please help me out? I've been dealing with this issue for several days and losing hope. This is the information of my machine:
